When starting up your car with poor wiring systems, this can cause improper HID start up, poor lighting or not staying on all together. Your HID system will withdraw a bit more power than your factory non-HID headlight will. By doing so, the quality and size of the wiring will need to match that of the amount it requires. In other terms, if you're extremely thirsty, you're going to want to drink a nice cold beverage with something bigger than a capri-sun straw.
