ULT brake pads, formerly known as Axxis Ultimate and PBR Ultimate, are quickly developing a loyal following in North America, because they have one of the highest coefficients of friction of any pad available for street use on teh market. Anything higher than this is a race pad. ULT is a reinforced ceramic material which gives you exceptional braking power with little pedal effort, and it performs every bit as well at 0 degrees F as at 900 degrees F. These pads offer much less dusting than OE pads with longer life and higher performance. With performance second to none.


The AXXIS / PBR ULT pads feature a special Kevlar® and ceramic strengthened formula with a high co-efficient of friction and very high temperature fade resistance. As with all AXXIS pads, the ULT pad is a non-asbestos formula. Designed for extreme high performance street driving and hard braking applications, ULT pad users will benefit with extreme stopping power and high resistance to brake fade at high temperatures. Consistent throughout it’s operating temperature range, you’ll get dependable, predictable stops time after time. These pads are more aggressive than OE, we recommend that if you are changing rotors at the same time that you consider upgrading to Motorsport rotors or rotors with additional cooling features (cross-drilling or grooving) if your car is not already equipped with this rotor type.
