From its inception in 1977, Wilwood Engineering has been at the forefront of high performance disc brake technology. Wilwood calipers are found in virtually every professional and motorsport arena, and often found in the winner's circle.

Wilwood incorporates a variety of innovative and time proven performance enhancements in its caliper designs. They include forged or high-strength billet construction, differential piston bores, high temperature seals, SRS Squeal Reduction and bridge reinforcement plates, internal heat shields, quick access pad retention, shock dampened fluid tubes, and center bridge bolts (features vary by model).

Please note that two basic types of brake kit are available for this application.

Stage 2 is a front-only kit using a 4-piston Superlite caliper with 325mm front rotors. Options include slotted or perforated/floating rotors and caliper color. Additionally, there is an optional rear add-on kit available using a 4-piston Dynalite caliper with 312mm rear rotors. Same rotor and caliper color options as front kit.

Stage 3 is a 4-wheel kit using your choice of a 4-piston or 6-piston Superlite front caliper (6-piston offers 8mm greater wheel clearance) with 325mm rotors and a 4-piston Superlite rear. Options include slotted or perforated/floating rotors and caliper color.

All kits include stainless steel brake lines, BP-10 street brake pads, and all brake caliper, hardware, brackets, and rotor parts required for installation. Race pad substitution available, cost varies by compound.

STAGE 2 KIT: Front-only - retains correct front/rear brake bias with original rear brakes.
Recommended for DE/track days and BMW CCA Prepared class racing.
Superlite 4-piston forged caliper
Choice of 1-piece slotted or genuine BMW Motorsport floating and perforated/drilled 325mm rotor (E46 M3 size)
Available with black or red calipers ( $150 for red).

IMPORTANT: multi-piston brake setups of any brand usually require wheel spacers when used with original BMW wheels. Many aftermarket wheels will not require spacers.

STAGE 2 Rear Add-on
Adds a 4-piston lightweight Dynalite caliper
Uses E36 M3-size rear rotor
Retains correct front/rear brake bias
Choice of 1-piece slotted or genuine BMW Motorsport floating and perforated/drilled 312mm rotor (floating not available for MZ3, only 1-piece slotted or drilled)

STAGE 3 KIT: Four-wheel kit.

Recommended for DE/track days and BMW CCA Prepared class racing and enduros (thickest rear pads)
Highest brake torque option while still retaining firm pedal feel with original master cylinder and correct front/rear brake bias.
